lack context
i do not mean

wrinkled speech
rough shirts

misaligned buttons
uncuffed footsteps

but us as binaries
even with

tender silence
lingering syllables
quiet collisions

hand to hand resuscitation
manicured words

joint at the hip
split at the lip.
